Team Profile Connie Milford Board of Directors Connie Milford has been active in managing the business since 2001. The company was founded by her late husband, Gene Milford, in 1972. Connie has over 20 years of general business experience. Connie has held executive level positions with various oilfield related businesses in New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma. Connie has extensive knowledge in Milford Pipe & Supply’s product lines and services. She possesses an overwhelming drive to take care of the customer and their needs. Cody Tippy Vice President After graduating from Hobbs High School in 1995, Cody Tippy attended Odessa College for two years. In 1999, he returned to Hobbs and began working in the polyethylene industry. Cody began work in the construction side of the business, quickly becoming a polyethylene fusion technician and then moving into inventory control and inside sales. During 2002, Cody began his career as an outside salesman. He has been successfully servicing and supplying both the oil and gas industry and the industrial and municipal markets for 10 years. Cody’s extensive knowledge and successful history in the polyethylene industry attracted the attention of Milford Pipe & Supply, and during the second quarter of 2007, the company approached Cody about becoming a partner. Cody joined Milford Pipe & Supply in September of 2007 and is now actively working as Vice President and co-owner. His duties include managing the daily operations of both the Hobbs and Odessa stores as well as the outside sales of each location. Milford Pipe & Supply is pleased to have Cody on board helping the business to grow. Shawn Beard President Mr. Beard is a partner and President of Milford Pipe and Supply. Shawn offers over twelve years experience in general management within the energy industry, most recently within the renewable energy sector. His forte is clearly his ability to balance operational efficiencies and business growth with a solid record of client satisfaction. Shawn employs proactive management and strong leadership techniques to generate an accomplishment-driven workplace environment, resulting in employee loyalty and customer satisfaction at all levels. His enthusiasm and positive attitude increase his ability to build and foster strategic business relationships with corporate level executives. Scott Brown Board of Directors With over 15-years of progressive management experience, Scott Brown brings a skilled knowledge base within Operations Management. Scott has successfully managed vendor and contract negotiations, while always maintaining a high level of results-driven teams who execute with flawless precision. Scott's strong background within Operations set the foundation for his partnership and position on the board of directors for Milford Pipe and Supply. Scott tenaciously supports the benefits of Polyethylene through State and Federal awareness as a solution for improving the quality of facility infrastructure. Gayla Bess Accounting Gayla Bess graduated from Tatum High School and majored in Accounting at Eastern New Mexico University. Graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Gayla then joined Milford Pipe & Supply in 1976. Gayla has extensive experience in office management, and is familiar with all phases of accounts receivable, accounts payable and invoicing. Our customers will find that she is well prepared to ensure that our accounts are accurate and that our office operates efficiently. George Boyle Hobbs Branch Manager After graduating from Mayfield High School out of Las Cruces, NM, George worked as a department assistant manager in the retail business for six years, until 1996. After exploring his options in the oil field industry, he opted to move to Hobbs in April of 1996 and went to work for an oil field services company. For his first six years at this company, George worked as a Cement Bulk Plant Foreman and Inventory Specialist. Feeling he had reached the pinnacle of this position, he moved on to the Acid and Fracturing services inside the same company. In his last year in this division, George was a Master Blender Operator and Chemical Quality Assurance Technician. George had worked nine years in the oil field service industry before joining, "Milford Pipe and Supply". George started as a Fusion Technician Assistant. He showed interest and drive to advance within the company. He has successfully moved from his starting position to, "Branch manager" of Hobbs, NM. George has a well rounded knowledge base of thequipment and products that Milford Pipe and Supply offers. He has extensive field experience which helps him understand the needs and challenges that our customers face on a day to day basis. Jason Willis Odessa Branch Manager Jason Willis has had demanding positions in both the Medical field and Law Enforcement. His 6 years experience in the medical field consisted of administration duties and multi tasking. He was trained to be efficient and thorough when sorting and analyzing critical documents. Jason decided that he would be in a better position to serve his community by being a Police Officer . He went through the proper training and graduated successfully from the academy. He spent the next 3 years protecting and serving his community. As a Police Officer Jason had to hold himself to high standards and morals. He had to develop a sense of awareness that enabled him to make quick, but precise decisions. When offered a position at Milford Pipe and Supply, Jason recognized the potential of the company and the position that was being offered. He was excited and confident that his training and skills would be an asset to the Milford Pipe and Supply organization. Jason has been a vital part of the Milford Pipe and Supply Team for 2 years now. He holds the position of, "Branch Manager" of the Odessa TX, location. September 24th, 2007 - Milford Pipe & Supply welcomes Cody Tippy as a new partner. January 1st, 2008 - Milford Pipe & Supply becomes a member of the PPI January 28th, 2008 - Milford Pipe & Supply launches new website.
